I am the fourth generation in a sewing passion family and my daughter is also following the path. My mother taught me how to sew when I was 10 years old, but my sewing experience became serious when I turned 15 years old and helped my mother to make my own quinceañera dress. I realized that sewing was fascinating and decided to make it a professional career. I have been sewing for 33 years. I studied Fashion Design at Mesa College and Fine Art at City College. I am currently studying Art applied in Design at SDSU. Education and sewing are my bliss, so I became a sewing teacher. My daughter has been my loyal student since she was 9 years old.
